The kind of conversation that helps me get to know you and vice versa. I mean, how can I do a great job communicating your business needs if we don't communicate?
Any project, no matter how big or small, requires a good conversation first. The kind that asks the old-fashioned journalism questions: how, what, where, when and why. How can I help you? What is it you need? Where do you want your stores communicated? When do you need it to happen? And, crucially, why are you doing it? You might think you need acres of copy for a website, for example, when in fact a few regular tight and taut missives might do the job.
